Do you have a catalog or a brochure? In order to remain cost effective and current, we have developed this online catalog as our primary way to communicate with you. We do not have any other material to send you. If you click on any of the thumbnails in the shopping cart, you will see a large, detailed photo of the item, better than anything we can show you in a brochure. What does handcrafted mean? We do not use molds or presses to cut out our materials. Everything is designed by hand, cut out by hand, carved by hand ... you get the idea. When you order an item in our catalog, yours will be similar, but not identical.
Do you use silver plating in your jewelry? There is no silver plating work of any kind at Bear Mountain Silversmiths. All our pieces are pure silver all the way through, which causes our jewelry to retain its beauty by not chipping or pealing as silver plating has a tendency to do.
How can I place a custom order? You can use any of the 3 ways below: 1. You can call us at (406) 248-7078. 2. You can contact us through the web site and describe what you want us to make. 3. You can find an item in the catalog that is similar to what you want, then tell us how you want to personalize or customize it in the comments box when you checkout.
How will you handle my custom order? We love creating custom works of art! We will contact you to make sure we understand what you want and confirm a price for the work to be done. Then we will design a mockup and fax it to you for approval. After you approve our design, we will manufacture it and ship it to you via a standard carrier. All shipments are insured. Catalog orders normally take 4-6 weeks to complete. Personalized and customized orders require additional time.
Where can I find the status of my order? Click on the link at the top of the page that says "My Account." If you have not logged in, you will be asked to do so. At the top of your account page, you will see the orders that you have placed. Click "view" to look at a particular order and the order status will be shown at the top of the page. It will say one of the following: Pending - Waiting to be processed Designing - We are working on a design for you to approve Manufacturing - We are in the process of making your piece of jewelry Shipped - We have sent your product and it should be arriving soon
